Mission

The mission of La vieille fromagerie Perron is to keep the heritage value of its century old building, including its original tools, instrumentation and accessories. The cheese-dairy actively interprets and disseminates the artisanal technology of cheese- making. It becomes a regional showcase to the cheese producers in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, and promotes the Municipality of Saint-Prime under this same theme.

La vieille fromagerie Perron allows a participative experience as one will discover the history and the importance of the milk and cheese industry deeply-rooted in its community,in keeping with its values that are:
