From Montréal to England

In Montréal, the wholesalers keep the wheels in refrigerated warehouses for nine months before exporting to England. Let’s remember that before 1950, cheese wasn’t that popular in Québec because it was seen as a luxury good. In England, the product was simply identified as a Canadian cheese without any detail about its origin.
